Artist Proflie

IAN GEORGE

Paintings exhibited in

"No Taku Ipukarea"
Cook Islands Visual Arts Exhibition
17 – 27 April 2001

Ian is currently studying for his masters. His work is based around the theme of Cook Islands cultural artifacts dispersed throughout the world. It looks at our culture and history as coming under the observant eye of the anthropologist and ethnologist and how the Cook Islands have lost control over a major amount of their cultural collections.
