Birds in the Cook Islands are both common in that there are birds around most every day, and rare in the sense of some are only-found-here in the Cook Islands. The old name for the island of ATIU, Enuamanu, means, "land of birds."

In addition to the link to the many bird stamp pages above, there are links to images of native birds and of Cooks Islands stamps with birds within the site, and there are other birds throughout the site.
